FISHING ON WOODY ISLAND
Remember to pack your tackle and bait! Tackle must be removed from rods and reels prior to embarking on the Woody Island ferry to avoid injury to our staff and passengers.
You can throw a line in from the Main Jetty or Skinny Dip Bay. Herring are common and relatively easy to catch or try your luck at catching a squid.
Normal bag limits apply and catch only what you can eat.
NO SPEARFISHING PERMITTED
PLEASE NOTE: Fish must be cleaned at the Jetty Fish Cleaning Station, not in the Campers Kitchen. Dispose of your catch in the ocean.
